Mombasa

Day 20 (and 21) - We realize that this unforgettable journey is almost at its end and we make a photo of our complete tourist party in Diani Beach. Then we go by a complete packed bus to Mombasa. We stay in a luxurious hotel and during the afternoon we make a trip to the old inner city. We pay a visit to the (from origin Portuguese)  "Fort Jesus". Some of its walls are over 2 meters thick!
Mombasa was during the Golden Age an intermediate port for Portugal for their "Spice Route" to the East. We walk through the old inner city and old harbor.
The next day we have to get up early because our plane to Nairobi is waiting. And then, from Nairobi, we fly back home. During the flight to Nairobi we have a beautiful view on the highest mountain of Tanzania: the Kilimanjaro. And with that beautiful sight our vacation ends.
Kwaheri, Kenya!
(Good Bye).
