Kibwezi Forest Reserve

Day 13 and 14 - We are heading Kibwezi Forest Reserve, near Tsavo National Park. On our way to our destination, we visit first the Karen Blix Museum. That museum is housed in the former house of the author of the bestseller "Out of Africa". We also visit a Pottery and the National Museum in Nairobi.
Alas, we again have some problems with our bus. The result of this is that we have to drive in total darkness on a narrow bush road through Kibwezi Forest Reserve to go to our tented camp. One of the busses gets lost but we finally arrive safe and sound.
The next day we make two walks through the wilderness and we finally see the famous Baobab tree. The sunrises are wonderful above the puddle and it is a pity that the elephants stay away this time from their drinking place in front of our tents.
Read further on Diani Beach.
